limit parameter

Hello!
Trying out Twit-ee, and it doesn't seem like the limit parameter is working. I am trying to use limit="2", but it continues to show me 10 results. Here is what I'm doing:
{exp:twitee:user_timeline limit="2"}
{text}
{created_at}
{/exp:twitee:user_timeline}
